But instead of accepting reality, Disney is still in denial.
And now woke Disney execs made another shocking move in their attempt to take down Ron DeSantis for good.
Woke Disney execs are going mad
Disney execs cannot stand Governor Ron DeSantis.
When DeSantis took control of Disney’s special tax district, including jurisdiction over their municipal services and development of their once “special zone”, Disney lost their minds.
They thought their woke policies could go unchecked, and never dreamed DeSantis would fight back.
Disney appeals court decision
Disney claimed DeSantis punished them for speaking out against the bill that protected their students against “transgender” madness.
According to the lawsuit, Disney insists DeSantis violated their right to free speech.
But a Florida federal judge was not having it, and dismissed the case.
Instead of accepting their fate, Disney appealed, determined to send a message to DeSantis and his conservative supporters.
Ridiculous.
A disgruntled Disney spokesperson defended Disney’s appeal and said, “This is an important case with serious implications for the rule of law, and it will not end here. If left unchallenged, this would set a dangerous precedent and give license to states to weaponize their official powers to punish the expression of political viewpoints they disagree with. We are determined to press forward with our case,” CNN reported.
Of course, the Left weaponizes their power every day by demanding the entire country fall in line with their agenda, or else.
But when a bold conservative leader like Ron DeSantis fights back against woke ideology, they are labeled the “bad guy”.
DeSantis is unphased
As Disney execs throw a temper tantrum, DeSantis remains unphased.
After the lawsuit was dismissed, a DeSantis spokesperson said, “Disney is still just one of many corporations in the state, and they do not have a right to their own special government,” CNN reported.
Disney may have gotten used to doing whatever they want, but that ship has sailed.
Leftist corporations, like Disney, continue to think special rules do not apply to them and that they are somehow more important.
Other states should take notes from how DeSantis runs Florida.
When drag queens and LGBT activists went after Florida children, DeSantis fought back and restored parental rights, including banning “transgender” bathrooms and punishing those who exposed children to sexually explicit material.
As the culture war rages on, now more than ever, conservatives must continue to hold the line and fight back.
Disney may hope they will get a friendly ruling, but as it stands, the days of Disney’s dominance and influence in Florida, has finally come to and end.
