Democrats love to declare their support for illegal aliens.

With the Biden administration’s refusal to secure our border, Ron DeSantis has taken the illegal immigration problem in Florida into his own hands.
The Florida legislature just passed a sweeping bill to combat illegal immigration in the state.
The bill prohibits counties and municipalities from issuing identifying documents to illegal aliens and declares that drivers’ licenses that have been issued to illegals from other states are not valid in Florida.
The bill also requires companies that receive incentives from the Department of Economic Opportunity to repay them if they are found to knowingly hire illegal aliens.
The bill also appropriates $12 million to the Unauthorized Alien Transport Program.
This is the program DeSantis used to fly illegals to Martha’s Vineyard, the home of many wealthy leftist elites.
The island’s wealthy residents claimed that their community didn’t have the resources to support the 50 illegal migrants and swiftly bussed them off to a nearby military base.
The move infuriated the Left and put their hypocrisy on full display.
Border towns have to deal with thousands of illegals flowing in on a daily basis, but leftist bastions like Martha’s Vineyard go into a panic over the arrival of just a few dozen.
Despite what the Left claims, the program is completely voluntary, and illegals are required to sign release forms before being transported.
Now that the program has been funded, we can expect DeSantis to infuriate more Democrat leaders of sanctuary jurisdictions.
DeSantis noted that the bill is a necessary step to counter the Biden administration’s open borders policy.
“We won’t turn a blind eye to the dangers of Biden’s Border Crisis. We will continue to take steps to protect Floridians from reckless federal open-border policies,” DeSantis said.
