Crime is skyrocketing in Democrat-run cities nationwide.
But that hasn’t stopped Democrats from pushing to defund or outright abolish police departments all across the country.
Which is why Democrats will be infuriated over the generous offer Ron DeSantis just made to police officers.
No Republican Governor is more hated, or more feared, by the Democrats and corporate-controlled media than Ron DeSantis.
On every issue that matters to conservatives, Ron DeSantis has been willing to stand up and fight back, even when it meant standing alone.
Ron DeSantis defied Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s authoritarian COVID rules and mandates every step of the way.
He ignored the Biden administration’s lockdown orders, keeping Florida open for business during the entire pandemic.
He banned mask and vaccine mandates in Florida, even implementing strict fines for any local government who violated the order.
But Ron DeSantis has done much more than just stand up to the Biden administration’s COVID tyranny.
DeSantis banned the teaching of Marxist-based Critical Race Theory in Florida’s public schools, and he’s been one of the biggest critics of Biden’s failure to secure the border.
And Governor DeSantis gave the Democrats another reason to attack him on Monday during a press conference where he announced raises for all new and currently serving law enforcement officers (LEO).
“As most of you remember, you go back to summer of 2020, you had huge movements in parts of the country to attack law enforcement,” said DeSantis about BLM and Antifa rioters. “I’m proud to say that we never budged. We stood with Florida Law Enforcement,” he added.
DeSantis then ripped Democrats who support defunding the police, saying that “while other states have turned their backs on law enforcement, even calling to ‘defund the police,’ in Florida we continue to support the men and women in law enforcement.”
While other states defund their police, in Florida, we will always support our law enforcement.

DeSantis’ proposal includes a $5,000 signing bonus for new police officers, as well as $1,000 bonuses for other first responders.
As for police officers from other states who were fired for refusing to get vaccinated, DeSantis says they are welcome in Florida.
And under his new proposal, there could be a $5,000 signing bonus waiting on any police officer who decides to take DeSantis up on his offer.
