Disney’s CEO was thrown for a loop after Elon Musk threw him this nasty curveball

Disney’s left-wing politics are coming back to haunt the floundering entertainment company.

They are going to lock horns with the richest man in the world.

And Disney’s CEO was thrown for a loop after Elon Musk threw him this nasty curveball.

Disney fired actress Gina Carano from the Star Wars spinoff show The Mandalorian for what the woke entertainment conglomerate considered “offensive” social media posts.

She is a supporter of former president Donald Trump and was not shy about expressing her conservative views on social media.

As a conservative actress in Hollywood, Carano was in the crosshairs of the woke outrage mob to be canceled.

Carano previously put “beep/bop/boop” in her social media profile to mock people who use absurd pronouns.

When she was fired, Disney said in a statement that her “social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”

Now, she is filing a lawsuit against Disney in federal court in California alleging wrongful termination with the help of X owner Elon Musk.

Last August, the billionaire entrepreneur announced that X would fund the lawsuits of anyone “unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform.”

Carano also alleged that Disney committed defamation by mischaracterizing her social media posts and her character.

“We rely on our leaders and people in positions of power to be just, cool-headed and steady-handed and to be able to listen to all sides of the story, keep the peace and act justly,” Carano said in a statement. “Some of us have been unjustly singled out, harassed, persecuted and had our livelihoods stripped away because we dared to encourage conversation, asked questions, and refused to go along with the mob.”

Carano lost her job on The Mandalorian, as well as a part in the upcoming Star Wars series, Rangers of the New Republic.

Her attorney, Gene Schaerr, said that Disney’s actions were a violation of California law.

“Disney bullied Ms. Carano, trying to force her to conform to their views about cultural and political issues, and when that bullying failed, they fired her,” Schaerr said. “Punishing employees for their speech on political or social issues is illegal under California law.”

Disney is fresh off losing big in court to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after its case, claiming he retaliated against the company for speaking out against its parental rights bill was dismissed.

The situation is going to get worse for Disney, after Musk put out the offer to provide legal aid to anyone “discriminated against by Disney or its subsidiaries.”

Disney’s woke politics could come back to cost the company big time.

DeSantis Daily will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
