Democrats are trying to use last January 6 as a way to paint all Trump supporters as terrorists ahead of the 2022 Midterms.
But it’s not working.
And Donald Trump grinned from ear to ear when he heard what Ron DeSantis said about Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee.
On Thursday, the Democrats and the corporate-controlled media seized on the one-year anniversary of the events of last January 6 at the Capitol for political gain.
From Joe Biden to Nancy Pelosi to Barack Obama, virtually every Democrat used January 6 as an opportunity to further push the phony narrative that all Trump supporters are domestic terrorists.
But the American people aren’t buying it.
With inflation skyrocketing, the disaster at the border, and the Biden administration failing on his promise to “shut down the virus,” most Americans have more important issues to be concerned with.
And Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called out the Democrats and the corporate controlled media for trying to “spin a narrative” about January 6 to hurt Trump and his supporters.
“There is an obsession with this among the D.C.-New York journalist class,” DeSantis said. “I think it’s because it allows them to spin a narrative that they want to spin.”
DeSantis ripped Democrats for using January 6 as “their Christmas,” adding that “they are going to take this and milk this for anything they can to be able to smear anyone who ever supported Donald Trump.”
DeSantis then called out the corporate-controlled media for how they covered the January 6 riots “compared to the 2017 shooting at a Congressional baseball practice, where a ‘Bernie Sanders guy’ shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and several others.”
As DeSantis pointed out, since it didn’t fit “their preferred narratives,” the corporate-controlled media only reported on it for a couple of days.
DeSantis concluded by slamming Democrats like Kamala Harris for comparing the events on January 6 to the Pearl Harbor and 9/11 terrorist attacks.
“But let’s just be clear here, when they try to act like this is something akin to the September 11 attacks, that is an insult to the people who are going into those buildings,” DeSantis declared. “And it’s an insult to people when you say it’s an insurrection and then a year later, nobody has been charged with that. People are being charged with disrupting proceedings or that. I think it’s very important in fact that if this is what you said it was, why are you not charging people?” he concluded.
Of course, DeSantis has a point.
After all, radical leftist Merrick Garland runs the Department of Justice.
And not one person who entered the Capitol that day has been charged with sedition or insurrection.
