Hillary Clinton went out and crossed a big line.
Clinton’s only thinking of her own career.
And Hillary Clinton challenged Ron DeSantis to one fight that is going to end very badly for Democrats.
Polls show the Florida Parental Rights in Education is popular even with Democrats.
Surveys of voters both nationally and in Florida shows a majority of Democrats support the legislation preventing teachers from sexualizing young children with gender identity and sexual orientation ideology.
But Hillary Clinton wants this bill to sit at the center of the midterm election campaign because Clinton is only thinking about her desire to run for President in 2024.
On the latest episode of Hillary Clinton’s podcast, Clinton discussed the legislation with Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon.
McKinnon asked Clinton how Clinton thought the bill would factor into the midterm elections.
“What are your thoughts on the state of attack we find on the LGBTQ+ community with Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill passing 22-to-17 and Texas anti-trans agenda. I can’t help but wonder how this plays into the midterm elections?” McKinnon pressed Clinton.
Clinton then repeated the Fake News Media lie about this common sense legislation was the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
“Oh my gosh, well, first off, it is profoundly outrageous and deeply sad that people in positions of power in our country who are more interested in undermining and opposing the rights of individuals than they are in bringing people together. I think people have to stand up to it. The idea ‘don’t say gay,’ I think people should go around saying gay all the time. Anything we can do to puncture the hypocrisy and the cruelty that lies behind this, we need to be doing,” Clinton began.
Clinton then tried to scare Democrats into turning out to vote claiming the “hatemongers” would win if Democrats didn’t show up at the polls.
“He mentioned the midterms. Let me just say, please, please turn out and vote. The hypocrites and the hate-mongers win when people don’t vote,” Clinton continued.
While a majority of Democrats support preventing teachers from grooming young children, Clinton is speaking to the smaller slice of Democrats who see no problem with teachers discussing gender identity with five years olds.
That’s because those are the voters most likely to vote in a Democrat Presidential Primary.
But this is a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face.
The more Democrats wage unpopular culture war fights, the bigger the red wave will grow this November.
