Ron DeSantis is nearing a decision about his political future.

And now Ron DeSantis just dropped this huge hint about running for President.
Every major political contender has groups that support their efforts.
These come in the form of Super PACs and 501(c)(4) nonprofit groups.
Super PACs and (c)(4) organizations pay for travel and stage events to promote politicians before they announce they are running for office and supplement the campaign with issue discussion, get out the vote efforts, and TV advertising.
The latest evidence DeSantis is running for President came in the announcement of the formation of the 501c(4) group “And to the Republic,” which hosted three events for DeSantis to speak to law enforcement in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
POLITICO reports:
The nonprofit organization, called “And to the Republic,” hosted three events DeSantis held Monday in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia, where he spoke before law enforcement officers. A person familiar with the group said it was “proud to help host the events today featuring Governor Ron DeSantis that put a spotlight on those state policies that are working and those that are clearly not working.”
Michigan operative Tori Sachs leads “And to the Republic,” which is expected to ramp up its schedule of events in support of DeSantis.
POLITICO also reports:
Those briefed on And to the Republic’s plans say it is expected to hold additional events supporting DeSantis. The person familiar with the organization said it would be “announcing events for the future in the coming weeks and months.” An Eventbrite page lists the group as the host of an upcoming event for the governor in North Venice, Fla.
Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump now appear on an inevitable path for a 2024 collision.
A 501(c)(4) group supporting DeSantis shows that in this campaign DeSantis will be at least as well-funded as the former President in the GOP primary.
DeSantis is not expected to make a formal campaign announcement until June.
That’s because DeSantis is waiting for the Florida legislature to complete its current sessions when DeSantis is expected to achieve conservative wins on signing Pro-Life legislation and Constitutional Carry.
Until that time DeSantis needs a vehicle to fund his political activities.
And the surest sign that DeSantis is preparing to run for President is that DeSantis has such a group.
