George Soros is a force to be reckoned with in American politics.
The Left is on the march across America in large part thanks to Soros’ funding.
But now Ron DeSantis just smacked George Soros with this massive defeat.
George Soros pumped $40 million dollars in local District Attorneys races across the county to install favored candidates who carry out Soros’ soft-on-crime agenda.
Left-wing prosecutors like George Gascón, Chase Boudin, and Larry Krasner of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia all won with Soros’ backing and immediately set about emptying the prisons by refusing to prosecute serious crimes and supporting eliminating cash bail.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis set out to make sure that Florida would remain “The Free State of Florida” in every sense.
And that includes allowing residents to live in freedom from the crime wave sweeping Democrat-run cities thanks to Soros-funded, pro-criminal District Attorneys.
To that end, DeSantis announced his support for a package of laws to make Florida the “law and order state.”
“Other states endanger their citizens by making it easier to put criminals back on the street. Here in Florida, we will to continue to support and enact policies to protect our communities and keep Floridians safe,” Governor DeSantis declared. “Florida will remain the law and order state.”
The new bills would make possessing deadly fentanyl a first degree felony, ensure life in prison for child rapists with the possibility of imposing the death penalty, no longer mandating a unanimous jury verdict to administer the death penalty, reforming bail laws to limit the ability of criminals to win release prior to their first trial appearance, and increasing penalties for sex crimes.
Florida law enforcement hailed Governor DeSantis’ commitment to public safety and maintaining Florida’s quality of life.
“Governor Ron DeSantis knows the importance of keeping families safe and because of that, his commitment to law enforcement is unprecedented,” Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass declared. “We are thankful to live in Florida. So many of our law enforcement colleagues across the country just don’t have the support of leaders like Governor DeSantis.”
Ron DeSantis won a 19-point landslide re-election victory because DeSantis fought for a conservative agenda on opposing lockdowns, protecting parents rights in education, and taking on woke corporations that improved Floridians lives.
And at the start of his second term DeSantis is not taking his foot off the gas.
