The left-wing media is out to get Ron DeSantis.
MSNBC recently dispatched a reporter to Orlando to try and dig up dirt on DeSantis from the locals.
But this MSNBC host was floored by what local residents said about Ron DeSantis’ battle with Disney.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is locked in a fierce legal battle with Disney.
After then-Disney CEO Bob Chapek spoke out publicly against the Parental Rights in Education Act, DeSantis signed a bill into law the following month stripping the company of its special privileges and self-governing status.
But Disney entered into an 11th hour dirty deal to circumvent the authority of the new board created to oversee the district, which led to DeSantis threatening the company with inspections and taxes.
Currently, DeSantis and Disney have launched lawsuits against each other.
Disney claims that DeSantis made the company a “targeted campaign of government retaliation, threatening its free speech.”
Of course, the left-wing media is looking for any opportunity they can find to damage Ron DeSantis in this battle against Disney.
NBC News recently dispatched correspondent Dasha Burns to Florida to interview local residents and try to dig up dirt on the Governor.
But the opposite happened.
To Burns’ dismay, the majority of residents stand behind Ron DeSantis in his war against woke Disney.
“We found overwhelming support for DeSantis in this fight,” Burns said. “The vast majority of people feel like Disney stepped out of line when they waded into the political fray.”
Burns reported that residents accused Disney of “getting too, quote unquote, ‘woke.’”
She added that one long-time annual pass owner decided not to renew her pass over Disney’s support for grooming children.
Burns showed a clip of a couple of residents discussing DeSantis’ battle with Disney.
“I’m definitely on DeSantis’ side,” resident Mikey Young says. “Go woke, go broke,” he continued, before adding that “it’s absolutely ridiculous what they’re doing.”
“They’re trying to infiltrate the children,” he added.
“I think he’s doing the right thing,” resident Laurie Goddard told Burns.
To MSNBC’s dismay, Floridians support @RonDeSantisFL ending Disney’s corporate kingdom.

Democrats and the media have waged war on DeSantis for more than two years.
But despite their smear campaign, DeSantis remains wildly popular with voters in Florida.
And that is why he was re-elected by a 19-point landslide victory.
