Joe Biden is fuming over the stern letter he received from Ron DeSantis and 21 other Republican Governors

Joe Biden is preparing to pull the trigger on his student loan bailout plan.

But he just hit a major roadblock.

And Joe Biden is fuming over the stern letter he received from Ron DeSantis and 21 other Republican Governors.

Joe Biden recently announced a socialist scheme to transfer student loan debt from college educated elites over to hard-working middle-class Americans who are already struggling to make ends meet.

According to the National Taxpayers Union Foundation, Biden’s bailout would cost hard-working Americans between $386 billion and $405 billion, or roughly $2,503.22 per taxpayer.

Of course, Joe Biden bypassing Congress to cancel student loan debt is blatantly illegal and unconstitutional.

Even Nancy Pelosi admitted as much last year when she told reporters that the President does not have the authority to forgive student loan debt.

“The President can’t do it, so that’s not even a discussion,” Pelosi stated. “Not everyone realizes that, but the President can only postpone, delay—but not forgive.”

But Joe Biden doesn’t care about the Constitution or the rule of law.

Instead, he’s hoping to boost youth turnout ahead of the Midterm elections by bailing out their student loan debt.

However, Joe Biden is facing fierce opposition over his proposed student loan bailout scheme.

On Monday, Ron DeSantis and twenty-one other Republican Governors sent a joint letter to Joe Biden demanding he withdraw his plan to forgive student loan debt, which is expected to cost hard-working taxpayers “more than $2,000 each or $600 billion total, a price the people of our states cannot afford.”

“As governors, we support making higher education more affordable and accessible for students in our states, but we fundamentally oppose your plan to force American taxpayers to pay off the student loan debt of an elite few,” the letter began.

Even though only 16 to 17 percent of Americans have federal student loan debt, Biden’s scheme transfers the burden to the vast majority of taxpayers.

“Shifting the burden of debt from the wealthy to working Americans has a regressive impact that harms lower income families,” the letter read.

“Borrowers with the most debt, such as $50,000 or more, almost exclusively have graduate degrees, meaning hourly workers will pay off the master’s and doctorate degrees of high salaried lawyers, doctors, and professors,” the letter read. “What’s more, the top 20 percent of earning households hold $3 in student debt for every $1 held by the bottom quintile, generating a lopsided reality where the wealthy benefit at the expense of the working.”

“Simply put, your plan rewards the rich and punishes the poor,” the Governors added.

At a time when it’s already running at 40-year highs, Biden’s scheme will also make inflation skyrocket even higher by pumping billions of dollars in new deficit spending into the economy.

Because of the Democrats’ “unprecedented tax-and-spend agenda,” the Republican Governors wrote that Biden’s plan would “encourage more student borrowing, incentivize higher tuition rates, and drive-up inflation even further,” which would all “negatively” impact Americans.

Polls show inflation is already the top issue facing voters this fall.

And Joe Biden’s student loan bailout scheme could end up costing Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi their majorities in Congress.
