The radical Left spent the past few years trying to force their woke ideology down the throats of the American people.
Many Americans have had enough.
And now this Florida man could be charged with a hate crime for this sick burnout.
In June of 2016, a madman opened fire at a gay nightclub in Orlando called Pulse, leaving 49 dead and 53 wounded.
Pride Intersection is an LGBTQ-themed crosswalk in Delray Beach that was created in memory of the tragic shooting at the nightclub.
But one man in Florida is sick of being spoon fed the identity politics of the Left.
And he recently expressed his frustration by doing burnouts in his pickup truck on the mural.
However, he was arrested and charged with an array of crimes.
“A Florida man is accused of intentionally doing multiple burnouts on an LGBTQ pride-painted intersection with his truck earlier this month before he surrendered after a week-long search,” the New York Post reported. “Dylan Brewer, 19, was caught on surveillance video in his lifted pickup truck, with LED underbody lights and a flag attached to the back, revving his engine and making a hard left turn at the intersection of NE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach on Feb. 4.”
In a press release, the Delray Beach Police Department said the incident caused “significant damage” to the street and the painting.
“Witnesses reported that Brewer was observed intentionally performing multiple burnouts with his vehicle over the LGBTQ pride crosswalk,” the Delray Beach Police Department said. “The reckless action caused significant damage to the streetscape painting, which serves as a symbol of unity and inclusivity for the LGBTQ community.”
The police spent a week on the investigation and received numerous tips about it from “concerned citizens.”
“Law enforcement actively worked the case for more than a week,” police said. “We received multiple reports from concerned citizens who witnessed Brewer engaging in these destructive acts,” the police continued. “Several witnesses provided smartphone video of the crime.”
Brewer was charged with felony criminal mischief, damage to property over $1,000, and misdemeanor reckless driving.
He was released on a $5,250 bond the following day.
But left-wing activists are pressuring law enforcement to add another crime to the list of Brewer’s charges.
The Palm Beach County Human Rights Council is demanding that Brewer’s actions be treated as a so-called “hate crime.”
“I think a big problem is with our judiciary who doesn’t understand hate crimes are hate crimes, whether or not they fit the specific definition of the law,” president and founder Rand Hoch said. “There needs to be consequences so people know if they commit crimes like this, they are going to jail, they are going to be fined; they are going to have to suffer from what they did.”
Of course, charging Brewer with a “hate crime” is outrageous, especially given that no humans were harmed by his actions.
The account Libs of TikTok pointed out how Brewer would be treated differently if it was a MAGA mural instead of a LGBTQ painting.
“Imagine if it was a MAGA mural.. he would receive a reward!” Libs of TikTok wrote. “Leftist groups like BLM and Antifa destroyed our country for months and barely faced consequences,” they continued. “Why weren’t most of them arrested and charged for the billions in damages they caused?”
A 19-year-old was arrested in Florida and is facing charges of felony criminal mischief and reckless driving after he drove over an LGBTQ pride mural painted on the street.
