Biden administration launches plan to make private transfer of firearms illegal
President Joe Biden and his rogue Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), announced a plan to make the private sale or transfer of firearms illegal, without conducting a federal background check, under the 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, a bill passed with the support of Senate RINOs.
Anyone who transfers a firearm would be considered a firearms dealer.
Passing down a gun from father to son or selling one to a friend would require a federal background review.
The ATF is setting the stage for universal gun registration by forcing the transfer of any firearm in the country into the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) system.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed the lie that anti-gunners use to push this scheme by claiming that it stops the so-called gun show loophole.
“Let’s just be clear on these gun shows because you have these narratives and these talking points,” DeSantis said. “Every one of them must do a background check before they sell to you.”
“This is typical propaganda,” DeSantis explained. “If I have a gun store and you come in, you’re required to run a background check. If I bring my inventory to a gun show I still have to do the same thing.”
Anti-gunners have created the myth that firearms dealers do not conduct background checks at gun shows.
The same laws apply there as they do anywhere else.
They lie about the issue to try and push for their real agenda, making private firearms transfers illegal.
“What they’re talking about has nothing to do with gun shows,” DeSantis remarked. “They’re talking about if you as a private citizen sell a rifle to your cousin, do you have to do a background check on that.”
DeSantis pointed out the havoc the rule would create for law-abiding gun owners.
He said that anti-gun politicians like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) “want to say if you give a rifle, like if someone gives his brother a rifle, that they have to do a background check before they could just loan that if they go hunting or something.”
“And what they’re trying to do is really crimp the ability to exercise Second Amendment rights,” DeSantis added.
The Biden administration is attacking the Second Amendment with time running out on the President’s first term.
