Charlie Crist is running out of time to find a way to gain traction on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Nothing he throws at DeSantis sticks.
But now Charlie Crist just went all-in on the one issue he thinks will help him defeat Ron DeSantis.
With less than four weeks left until the Midterm elections, the Orlando Sentinel gives Ron DeSantis an 11 point lead over Democrat Charlie Crist.
The RealClearPolitics polling average shows DeSantis leading Crist by 7.8 points and rising.
Polls currently show that the economy and inflation are the top issues facing voters.
But Joe Biden and the Democrats created the economic crisis and inflation with their trillions of dollars in spending and “green energy” madness, which takes the two top issues off the table for Crist.
Illegal immigration and crime are two other top issues that Crist would have to attack his own Party to make them an issue.
So Charlie Crist decided to follow the same failed strategy that Joe Biden and many other Democrats tried after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade by making the race about abortion.
Ron DeSantis signed a bill earlier this year banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregancy.
And Charlie Crist just released a new ad attacking DeSantis for being Pro-Life and promising to do “everything” in his power to make abortion on demand the law in Florida.
The ad begins with Crist sharing a quote from the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“The decision whether or not to bear a child is central to a woman’s life, to her well-being and dignity,” Ginsburg said. “It is a decision she must make for herself.”
The narrator of the ad then urges voters to “take back control of our future, raise our voices and say no to the attacks on our reproductive freedoms by Ron DeSantis.”
The ad then features clips of Charlie Crist expressing his intention to make abortion-on-demand legal on Day One of his administration.
Charlie Crist shared the ad on social media.
“As Governor, I will do everything in my power to protect a woman’s right to choose in Florida,” Crist wrote on social media.

Crist also wrote on social media that “on my first day as Governor, I will sign an Executive Order to protect reproductive freedom in Florida.”
Charlie Crist just went all-in on abortion.
But just like Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats already learned, it will not work.
The American public is not on board with the Democrats’ radical pro-abortion until birth beliefs.
