Conservatives have long been referred to as the silent majority in America.
But that silence came with a price.
And Christina Pushaw just revealed one truth about the culture war that every conservative needs to hear.
The Left knows they can’t turn America into a full-blown socialist nation without first erasing religion and traditional values from society.
That’s why the Left has been waging a culture war for decades, starting with attacking religious liberty by removing prayer and Christianity from schools.
Unfortunately, most conservatives have remained silent over the years, which is why they’ve been dubbed “America’s silent majority.”
While conservatives remained silent, leftists took over more and more parts of society.
And today radical leftists and their Democrat allies are trying to force every American to accept their woke gender insanity and mutilation of young children.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis not only showed conservatives how to fight the culture war, but he also showed them it was possible to win against the radical Left.
DeSantis took on the Left in education by removing Marxist-based Critical Race Theory and other woke garbage from the curriculum.
He took on and defeated the Left’s woke gender insanity by protecting the integrity of women’s sports, stopping leftists from grooming kids in schools, and making it illegal to perform sex-change operations or give hormones and puberty blockers to children.
And members of Ron DeSantis’ staff are sounding the alarm and rallying conservatives to join the fight against the Left in the culture war.
“There is a culture war being waged by progressives against normalcy, decency, and sanity,” DeSantis’ Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw tweeted. “We don’t have a choice but to fight it. As @GovRonDeSantis said — if you’re demanding that I pretend a man is a woman, you are making me complicit in a lie. We don’t have to accept that. If taking pornography out of kids’ schools is fighting a ‘culture war,’ then that is a war that needs to be fought. As Andrew Breitbart said: Politics is downstream from culture. If our culture is rotten, degenerate and corrupt, we won’t have an economy or a country.”

DeSantis’ Deputy Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern echoed Pushaw’s sentiment about the need to stand and fight.
“Simplifying strong conservative policy as just ‘fighting a culture war,’ while activist doctors are mutilating children at the alter of leftist ideology, is at the heart of the losing culture currently on the right,” Redfern wrote. “Stop letting the Maoists win and start delivering results.”

Press Secretary Bryan Griffin used a recent CNN post on social media to highlight the importance of Pushaw and Redfern’s advice about fighting the culture war.
Griffin blasted CNN for claiming DeSantis was preparing to sign “a slate of bills that will alter the lives of transgender people in Florida – including their access to health care and everyday amenities.”
“It’s scary how prolific this Newspeak is in the media,” Griffin wrote. “What @CNN refers to here as ‘access to healthcare’ is, in reality, chemical or physical sex changes performed on children.”
“If these are the stakes of the ‘culture wars,’ we HAVE TO fight,” Griffin continued. “And @GovRonDeSantis fights.”

Pushaw, Griffin, and Redfern are right about the importance of fighting this culture war.
And every conservative would be wise to heed their advice and join the fight.
