Donald Trump’s Super PAC has spent more money attacking one person than anything else it’s done

May 25, 2023

The 2024 Presidential election is already in full swing.

There are now four candidates officially running to try and beat Donald Trump for the GOP nomination, with more waiting in the wings preparing to jump in the fray.

But a new report reveals Donald Trump’s Super PAC has spent more money attacking one person than anything else it’s done.

As the race to try and win the GOP Presidential nomination heats up, most political observers agree – only one candidate can beat Donald Trump.

Ron DeSantis is the only viable option

And that one candidate is popular Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

He is the only one who comes even close to Trump in any legitimate poll.

That is why Donald Trump has spent most of his time attacking “DeSanctimonious,” as he refers to DeSantis.

And it’s also why the former President’s Super PAC, MAGA Inc., has spent more money on attack ads against the Florida Governor than it did supporting Republican candidates in the 2022 Midterms.

The attacks by both Trump and MAGA, Inc. have been brutal and frequent.

While DeSantis has seen a drop in recent polls, it is unclear if that is because of the attack ads, or just normal corrections in the polls.

10,000 times the spending

As DeSantis Daily previously reported, the Super PAC, MAGA Inc. has spent $15.3 million attacking Ron DeSantis and only $1,500 on supporting Donald Trump.

But the big takeaway was that the Super PAC’s spending on DeSantis attack ads eclipsed its total spending in the 2022 Midterms, much to the dismay of conservatives who felt Trump should’ve done more in the Midterms to back candidates he endorsed who ultimately came up short.

In the 2022 Midterms, the Super PAC only spent $15 million to support Republican candidates in the critical swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Republicans ended up losing four out of those five states, with only Ohio Republican J.D. Vance emerging victorious.

Now the question is, will the $15 million plus spending on DeSantis attack ads have a better effect than the Super PAC had in 2022?

Whether or not these ads, and Trump’s continued attacks, have a major impact on DeSantis, one thing is clear.

Trump and his people clearly view Ron DeSantis as the only real threat to a Trump nomination, and are acting as such.
