The Left spent the past two years viciously attacking Ron DeSantis over every move he makes.
But their attacks only seemed to make him stronger.
And one set of numbers Ron DeSantis just posted will keep Democrats up late at night.
In 2018, after Donald Trump’s endorsement catapulted him to victory in the Republican Primary, Ron DeSantis went on to win the General Election by a small margin of 0.4%.
However, since his election as Governor, Ron DeSantis has gained rock star status in the Republican Party for his willingness to fight the Left – and win – on many of the issues voters care most about.
Outside of Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis is now the most popular Republican in the entire country.
And should Donald Trump decide not to run for President again in 2024, polls show Ron DeSantis would be the clear frontrunner to win the GOP nomination.
DeSantis is also facing his own re-election for Governor this November.
Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried and former Governor Charlie Crist are the top two candidates running in the Democrat Primary.
Polls currently show Ron DeSantis handily defeating both Crist and Fried in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup this fall.
But the polls aren’t the only place where DeSantis enjoys a massive advantage over his potential Democrat opponents.
When it comes to fundraising, Ron DeSantis is crushing the Democrats and setting records.
In March, Ron DeSantis reported raising more than $100 million, making him the first candidate for Governor in Florida history to pull in nine figures from donations alone.
And DeSantis hasn’t shown any signs of slowing up when it comes to fundraising.
After his recent battle against the woke Left over the Parental Rights in Education Bill, Ron DeSantis just set a new monthly fundraising record in April, pulling in nearly $10.5 million for the month.
As Fox News reported, “the total included $2.297 million raised by his reelection campaign and $8.156 million brought in by Friends of Ron DeSantis, his political committee.”
This is the best combined monthly fundraising for Ron DeSantis since he formed his campaign committee back in November.
Overall, DeSantis has raised nearly $115 million for his re-election efforts.
On the Democrat side, Charlie Crist is leading in fundraising after Nancy Pelosi and the far-Left recently rallied behind his campaign over Nikki Fried.
However, his fundraising pales in comparison with DeSantis, with Crist only bringing in a total of $9.2 million for his campaign.
DeSantis recently set a goal of turning Florida into a solid red state by winning so big this November.
The fact that his fundraising is skyrocketing while his approval ratings also surge is a sign that DeSantis is on the path to achieving his goal this fall.
And that is something that will keep the Democrats up late at night.
