And now Ron DeSantis brought down the house with one huge announcement about Casey DeSantis.
As DeSantis Daily previously reported, Ron DeSantis delivered his State of the State address kicking off a special legislative session that observers believe is a precursor to a Presidential campaign.
In the speech, DeSantis took a subtle dig at Donald Trump by noting that in Florida DeSantis delivered results such as taking on woke in schools and corporations, banning vaccine passports, and keeping Florida a free state without making excuses or complaining about all the forces allied against him.
“Florida is No. 1, and working together, we will ensure that Florida remains the No. 1 state in these United States,” DeSantis declared.
“Working together, we have met big challenges, and we led the nation on many big issues. We don’t make excuses. We don’t complain. We just produce results,” DeSantis added.
DeSantis also trained his fire on Joe Biden, comparing how in Florida they value border security and took action to try and stop Joe Biden’s illegal alien invasion by banning sanctuary cities in Florida, suing the Biden administration over catch and release, and flying 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.
“We believe that borders matter, and we have fought against illegal immigration in the state of Florida – from banning sanctuary cities, to suing the Biden administration over its catch and release policies, to transporting illegal aliens to sanctuary jurisdictions,” DeSantis added.
But DeSantis brought down the house – and got the biggest reaction – when he again announced that Casey DeSantis was cancer free following a battle with breast cancer.
“I can tell you – she is cancer free and she is doing better than ever,” DeSantis exclaimed.
Last week, Casey DeSantis announced that following a year’s worth of treatment she had at this time won her battle.
“There are no words to express how truly blessed, grateful and humbled I am to hear the words cancer-free. To those who are in the fight, know there is hope. Have faith and stay strong,” Casey DeSantis gushed.
DeSantis closed his speech with a promise that sounded like a Presidential announcement was coming sooner than people think by saying the success he achieved in Florida was just a hint of what was to come.
“We will stand strong. We will hold the line. We won’t back down. And I can promise you this: You ain’t seen nothing yet,” DeSantis told the crowd.
