Americans are no longer required to wear masks while traveling on public transportation.
Joe Biden is not happy about it.
And Ron DeSantis just dropped the hammer on Joe Biden with one brutal reality check.
On Monday, Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a Trump-appointed U.S. federal judge in Florida, officially blocked the Biden administration’s public transportation mask mandate, meaning no more federal mask mandates on planes, trains, or buses – for now.
The majority of Americans across the country who are fed up with the COVID mandates cheered Judge Mizelle’s ruling.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who opposed Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci’s authoritarian COVID mandates throughout the pandemic, also praised the decision to finally allow Americans to travel without wearing a useless cloth mask on their faces.
“We are very happy that finally we have judicial relief for that unscientific mask mandate on airplanes,” DeSantis said at a press conference. “They’ve treated these flight attendants horribly for so long, the passengers horribly,” he continued, before adding that “it’s caused huge problems with behavior because it really messes with people.”
However, Joe Biden’s Department of Justice announced on Tuesday its intention to appeal the decision.
“The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect public health,” Justice Department spokesman Anthony Coley said. “That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”
On Wednesday, Ron DeSantis released a new digital campaign ad ripping the Biden administration for appealing the decision to end the mask mandate on public transit.
“It’s fitting that the Free State of Florida was home to the ruling that unmasked millions of Americans on airplanes and other forms of transport,” DeSantis wrote in a social media post revealing the new digital ad.
“Biden needs to drop any appeal attempts and acknowledge the misery he imposed on so many of our airline employees and passengers.”

The video begins by showing a member of the press announcing that the mask mandate was overturned, before transitioning to a clip of Press Secretary Jen Psaki condemning the “disappointing decision” by the Florida judge.
After that, DeSantis’ voice can be heard in the ad welcoming viewers to “the freest state in these United States,” before ending with a clip of his new campaign theme song, “Sweet Florida.”
Of course, polls show the majority of Americans are fed up with the COVID restrictions and mandates.
Even Joe Biden’s own pollster recently warned Democrats they would take massive losses in November if they were viewed by voters as the Party of mandates.
The Biden administration’s attempt to appeal the Florida judge’s decision will only serve as a reminder to voters that Democrats are pro-mandate and pro-restrictions.
