Joe Biden recently pledged to continue sending American cash and weapons to Ukraine for “as long as it takes.”
More and more Americans are growing concerned that Joe Biden is walking America into nuclear war with Russia.
And now Ron DeSantis just revealed one terrifying consequence of Joe Biden’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
Over the past few years, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has proven that he is more than willing to take on important fights against the radical Left.
DeSantis stood up to the biomedical security state when he opposed Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s COVID lockdowns, restrictions, and mandates.
Even when faced with relentless attacks from Democrats and the media, DeSantis refused to back down and defended his pro-freedom policies.
DeSantis then showed Republicans how to fight and win against the woke Left.
He banned Critical Race Theory from the classroom, prohibited biological males from participating in women’s sports, and put an end to left-wing grooming of young children in schools.
DeSantis fought for election integrity, the sanctity of life, and the Second Amendment.
And he’s doing everything he can at the state level to protect Floridians against Biden’s border crisis.
On every issue that matters to conservatives, DeSantis has proven he walks the walk.
But since DeSantis only deals with domestic issues as Governor, many conservatives are wondering about his views on foreign policy.
Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson asked all of the major declared and potential 2024 GOP Presidential candidates for their stance on Biden’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
And based on his answer, Ron DeSantis believes in an America First foreign policy.
“While the U.S. has many vital national interests – securing our borders, addressing the crisis of readiness within our military, achieving energy security and independence, and checking the economic, cultural, and military power of the Chinese Communist Party – becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia is not one of them,” DeSantis wrote to Carlson. “The Biden administration’s virtual ‘blank check’ funding of this conflict for ‘as long as it takes,’ without any defined objectives or accountability, distracts from our country’s most pressing challenges.”
DeSantis said the only objective for Biden should be “peace” and America “should not provide assistance that could require the deployment of American troops or enable Ukraine to engage in offensive operations beyond its borders.”
He ripped Biden for pushing America closer and closer to World War III with Russia by supplying F-16s and long-range missiles to Ukraine.
“These moves would risk explicitly drawing the United States into the conflict and drawing us closer to a hot war between the world’s two largest nuclear powers,” he wrote. “That risk is unacceptable.”
DeSantis warned Americans that the most terrifying consequence of Biden’s proxy war with Russia was that it pushed Putin into “a de facto alliance with China.”
The Florida Governor pointed out how Joe Biden depleted the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and spent trillions of dollars on the Left’s Green New Deal, which only “further empowered Russia’s energy-dominated economy and Putin’s war machine at Americans’ expense.”
Instead of sending billions of dollars to Ukraine, DeSantis said the President should prioritize the “defense of our own homeland” over foreign nations.
DeSantis’ response to Carlson’s question gave conservatives a glimpse into what type of foreign policy he would implement as President.
And just like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis – who is a combat-deployed veteran – supports an America First foreign policy.
