Ron DeSantis offered Joe Biden one piece of advice that millions of Americans wish he would take

Inflation is skyrocketing with no end in sight.

Gas prices continue to soar to record highs on a daily basis.

But Ron DeSantis offered Joe Biden one piece of advice that millions of Americans wish he would take.

Current polls show the economy, particularly skyrocketing gas prices, are the top concern of voters heading into the Midterm elections.

Instead of trying to solve the crisis, Joe Biden continues to blame everyone else.

After the American people refused to buy into Biden’s “Putin Price Hike” excuse, he then shifted to blaming record-high gas prices on greedy oil executives.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is one Republican who is willing to stand up and speak out against Joe Biden’s lies and deceptions.

During a recent press conference in Miami, a reporter asked DeSantis how he would handle skyrocketing inflation and gas prices differently than Joe Biden.

“So, the question is about gas prices and inflation, you know what I could do, if you could give me a time machine to go back to January 2021, we would just do the opposite of what Biden has done, and we’d be in a better spot,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis pointed out how skyrocketing gas prices shouldn’t be all that surprising given how Joe Biden “campaigned saying he was going to shut down energy production in the United States.”

“He said, we’re not going to let him drill, we’re not going to give leases, we’re not going to do any of that,” DeSantis continued. “And so then he comes in, he puts really negative policies to try to kneecap American energy production. And of course, that’s been a huge driver as to why we now have gas higher than we have ever seen it before, in my lifetime in this country.”

Since everything that’s produced “relies on energy,” DeSantis said that Biden’s anti-fossil fuels agenda “had a huge impact on overall inflation.”

But then Ron DeSantis offered Joe Biden some advice that millions of Americans wish he would take – “admit he was wrong.”

“What I would do is I would say if and he will not do this, but he should admit he was wrong,” DeSantis said, adding that Joe Biden should declare that “we need to be energy independent,” and “lead the world in production.”

However, DeSantis admitted that he doesn’t expect Biden to follow his advice, as the current administration is more concerned with advancing “the ideology of the ruling class and the governing elites.”

Instead of admitting his policies have failed, Joe Biden is trying to blame everyone but himself for skyrocketing inflation.

“He’s always trying to create a scapegoat,” DeSantis said about Biden’s excuses for high gas prices.

Polls show DeSantis is correct.

Even though Biden is trying to convince the American people that high gas prices are the fault of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and greedy oil executives, the majority of voters place the blame directly at the feet of Joe Biden.

DeSantis said that it was “insulting to the average citizen to listen to some of this drivel coming out of the White House.”

And as long as Joe Biden continues to make excuses for skyrocketing gas prices, DeSantis promised to speak out and hold him accountable.

“They know they’re responsible for it,” DeSantis said. “So they’re just looking for a bogeyman to try to pin this on. And here’s the thing, not gonna let them get away with that – we’re gonna hold them accountable.”
