Record-breaking numbers of illegal aliens and dangerous drugs are pouring across the border on Joe Biden’s watch.
Republican Governor Greg Abbott is taking unprecedented action at the state level to secure the border in Texas.
And Ron DeSantis responded to Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s call for help with eight words that sent Joe Biden off the rails.
Florida’s Ron DeSantis and Texas’ Greg Abbott are leading the charge at the state level to fight back against Biden’s dangerous open borders agenda.
Governor Abbott started sending busloads of illegal aliens last year to Democrat-run cities like New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
Although he hasn’t yet sent any buses, Ron DeSantis did fly two planes carrying 50 illegal aliens last year from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Abbott and DeSantis sending illegal aliens to so-called sanctuary cities exposed the Democrats’ hypocrisy on open borders.
Democrat leaders in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and New York City have all complained about the burden imposed on the cities by the busloads of illegal aliens.
Aside from shipping illegal aliens out of the state, Abbott also declared a state of emergency and deployed National Guard troops to the border to help with security.
And on Tuesday, Abbott sent a letter to 49 Governors asking for assistance in dealing with the surge of illegal aliens at his border following the end of Title 42.
“With the end of Title 42 expulsions, President Biden’s own administration estimates that at least 150,000 migrants are waiting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border and enter our country illegally,” Abbott wrote in the letter.
“The flood of illegal border activity invited by the Biden Administration flows directly across the southern border into Texas communities, but this crisis does not stop in our state,” the letter continued, before adding that “emboldened Mexican drug cartels and other transnational criminal enterprises profit off this chaos, smuggling people and dangerous drugs like fentanyl into communities nationwide.”
Abbott urged his fellow Governors to assist Texas any way they can.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis did not hesitate to answer Abbott’s call.
DeSantis announced that Florida is sending resources and more than 1,100 people to help with border security in Texas.
“The impacts of Biden’s Border Crisis are felt by communities across the nation, and the federal government’s abdication of duty undermines the sovereignty of our country and the rule of law,” DeSantis wrote in a statement. “At my direction, state agencies including law enforcement and the Florida National Guard are being deployed to Texas, with assets including personnel, boats and planes,” the statement continued, before adding that “while Biden ignores the crisis he created, Florida stands ready to help Texas respond to this crisis.”
DeSantis is sending 800 National Guard Soldiers, 101 Highway Patrol Troopers, 200 Department of Law Enforcement Officers, two Mobile Command Vehicles, 17 drones, 10 vessels, and more resources to help secure the border.
“We stand with Texas as they work to repel illegal aliens at the border,” Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie said. “We are prepared to assist however needed.”
Biden’s border crisis is out of control.
And Republican Governors like Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are leading the charge to protect America from the influx of drugs and illegal aliens.
