DeSantis signed legislation banning a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in Florida because the true purpose of the digital dollar is to force Americans to live under a social credit score regime – like the one in Communist China – where the government can freeze your bank account and turn off your access to society if you engage in behaviors leftists do not approve of.

CBDC’s allow the government to track every purchase an individual makes.
Leftists believe cow farts cause global warming and thus want to restrict the ability of Americans to eat beef while forcing them to eat bugs.
Anyone who eats too much meat will very likely see the government shut down their bank account.
A CBDC will also allow the government to monitor and catalog every purchase of firearms and ammunition in America.
This will create a backdoor national gun registration database without Congress ever having taken a vote and it would remove the Supreme Court from the equation since there is no official act of government to review as to its Constitutionality.
Gun-grabbers would know exactly which Americans own guns and how many firearms are in their house.
The idea that the government would punish citizens for participating in activities the government disapproves of by shutting off their bank account is not some science fiction dystopian fantasy.
Last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau froze the bank accounts of the truckers in the Freedom Convoy who protested the government’s COVID vaccine mandate.
Joe Biden would love having that power in America.
And Ron DeSantis warned a CBDC would turn Biden into a virtual dictator.
