Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is sounding a major alarm.
He’s calling for action before it is too late.
And Ron DeSantis warned Laura Ingraham about a huge problem that will scare every American.
Businesses tied to the Communist Chinese Party are buying up hundreds of thousands of acres of land in America.
The purchases all look very strategic and they worry Governor DeSantis.
On Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show, DeSantis called for the government to ban entities with ties to the Communist Chinese Party from buying up land in America.
“I don’t think they should be able to do it,” DeSantis stated.
“I think the problem is these companies have ties to the CCP, and it’s not always apparent on the face of whatever a company is doing — but I think it’s a huge problem,” DeSantis added.
DeSantis told Ingraham that in the next legislative session he would push for a bill to ensure that Florida’s pension fund is divested of any ties to entities linked to the Communist Chinese Party.
“We’re also probably going to do legislation next legislative session about our pension investments, with things that may be linked to the CCP. We don’t necessarily have a lot of it, but we want to make sure that we’re cutting ties so that we’re not funding our number-one adversary,” DeSantis stated.
DeSantis is raising alarm bells about the purchase of land by Communist Chinese businesses due to their location to sensitive military bases in North Dakota and Texas.
Since 2016, a company owned by Xinjiang-based real estate tycoon Sun Guangxin had spent an estimated $110 million buying up land in Texas’ Val Verde County. Located on the Mexico border, Val Verde is home to about 50,000 people, the small town of Del Rio, family-owned hunting ranches—and Laughlin Air Force Base, a training ground for military pilots.
That’s because the buyer of the land was a Chinese company, the Fufeng Group, based in Shandong, China, and the property is just about 20 minutes down the road from Grand Forks Air Force Base — home to some of the nation’s most sensitive military drone technology.
The base is also the home of a new space networking center, which a North Dakota senator said handles “the backbone of all U.S. military communications across the globe.”
Communist China is preparing for war to conquer Taiwan and reunify it with the mainland.
Any invasion of Taiwan that Communist China launches will likely involve an initial sneak attack in U.S. bases in Asia.
That means full-on war.
And Communist China could be trying to gain any advantage possible by purchasing land that allows them to spy on the U.S. military.
