The support for a DeSantis run for President is growing by the day.
And he’s picking up support from die-hard conservatives and many former Trump activists.
That’s why Ron DeSantis was all smiles after he picked up another huge endorsement from a top conservative Congressman.
For a man that isn’t even a candidate as we go to press, Ron DeSantis is sure gaining support like one.
“Courageous conservative leadership”
Republican Virginia Congressman and leading House conservative leader Bob Good became the fourth member of Congress to endorse Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ expected Presidential bid.
“Courageous conservative leadership is what America needs to stand against the insanity of woke corporations, corrupt Washington politicians, and continued attacks on our faith, families, and freedoms.”
“Governor Ron DeSantis has shown through action as Florida’s chief executive that confronting hard challenges delivers effective results for every man, woman, and child. That strength in the face of adversity is needed more today than ever before, and it is why I am unequivocally endorsing and encouraging Governor DeSantis to run for president.”
“The calls from the Never Back Down movement are growing stronger every day for his brand of fearless conservatism to get America back on track. If Governor DeSantis runs for president, he will win,” Good said in a statement issued through the Never Back Down PAC.

In good company
Good joins Texas Congressman Chip Roy, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, and Florida Congresswoman Laurel Lee as the first members of Congress to endorse DeSantis.
Roy and Good are both members of the House Freedom Caucus, which DeSantis co-founded in 2015.
Good, Lee, Massie, and Roy all attended a policy dinner with DeSantis at the Heritage Foundation in April.
The other five Congressional attendees, Congressman Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, Ken Buck of Colorado, Randy Feenstra of Iowa, Darin LaHood of Illinois, and Utah Senator Mike Lee have not yet endorsed in the 2024 contest.
Trump still leads DeSantis by 29 points in the RealClearPolitics average.
But no other candidate polls above 5.4%.
And Trump and DeSantis run even closer in key Primary states, with a Cygnal poll showing Trump leading DeSantis by seven in Iowa.
DeSantis is reportedly targeting a campaign launch later in May and has already begun building up his staff.
DeSantis’ game plan for victory
The Super PAC supporting Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ potential bid announced they will be mailing hundreds of thousands of its first mailers into Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, explaining the “DeSantis playbook.”
The five-page mailer from Never Back Down PAC will hit mailboxes even as DeSantis has been traveling the U.S. speaking.
Although the mailer does not mention a possible 2024 Presidential bid, it points out all of what the Super PAC believes are DeSantis’ main accomplishments.
“Ron DeSantis is one of the most popular Republicans in the country, yet most Americans don’t know much about his personal story of hard work, blue collar success, and military service. Never Back Down is telling the governor’s story because our movement believes Governor DeSantis is the future and when voters learn more about his values as a family man, conservative fighter, and undefeated leader, they are even more excited to join the movement,” Never Back Down Communications Director Erin Perrine told the Daily Caller.
As the support for DeSantis grows, many conservative political activists are staying back, keeping their powder dry to see just what DeSantis decides.
