Democrats just made another powerful enemy.
It’s going to cost them big time.
And Ron DeSantis’ wife was furious when she got her hands on this shocking video.
The fallout from Democrat Lt. Governor nominee Karla Hernandez-Mats mocking special needs children continues to spread.
At a campaign stop, Hernandez-Mats claimed her time as a special needs children’s instructor would prepare her to deal with the legislature should she and Democrat candidate for Governor Charlie Crist win in November.
Calling the FL state leg dysfunctional & then comparing it to special needs students is disgraceful & a new low for @KarlaforFlorida. Hernandez-Mats' out-of-touch rhetoric proves she's unfit to represent Floridians, & she owes FL special needs students an apology. #FlaPol pic.twitter.com/bM8okry1TE

Hernandez-Mats’ ugly insult drew the ire of Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis.
Casey DeSantis ripped Hernandez-Mats and promised that she would let every Florida voter know that Hernandez-Mats had “hate in her heart.”
“Sickened by callous words from someone who claims to be an advocate for children. Karla, saying children w/ unique abilities are “dysfunctional” & equating them to political opponents is a new low. I will make it my mission to let all parents know of the “hate in your heart,”” DeSantis posted on Twitter.
Parents quickly joined in to express their agreement with Casey DeSantis’ sentiment.

Democrats continue to ignore the potency of parents and the education issue.
In 2021, Republicans swept the statewide elections for the first time since 2009 after GOP nominee Glenn Youngkin copied Ron DeSantis’ focus on parental rights in education.
Ron DeSantis keeping schools open during the pandemic and then moving to ban woke ideology from the classroom boosted DeSantis’ approval rating over 50 percent.
Democrats continue to fall into the trap of alienating parents of school children with insane policies and comments.
And it looks to cost them big time in November.
